Today marks the conclusion of the first summer school organized by the Reginna 4.0 consortium, focusing on deep technology and its impact on entrepreneurship and innovation. The event was highlighted by the closing remarks of Prof. Dr. Boštjan Golob, the rector of the University of Nova Gorica, who described it as a summer school where participants delve into the realm of Industry 4.0. "This term refers to the integration of modern digital technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, into industrial production processes, including nanotechnology," stated Prof. Golob.

More than 300 students from around the world attended the summer school, with approximately 50 joining in person in Nova Gorica while others participated remotely. "What I enjoyed the most was the opportunity to collaborate with international universities and interact with fellow students from similar small-scale institutions. We compared our experiences, shared our knowledge, and discussed our learning methods. I believe we can learn a great deal from our peers in similar fields of study," shared Nejc El Habashy, a student at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Nova Gorica.
