Spring 2024: Three Seminars at the University of León

Within the framework of the REGINNA 4.0 project, and as we did during the first semester, we are offering some seminars to students of some courses of Engineering at the University of León to complement their training in Spring 2024.

Students from the “Engineering of Materials” course  of the BSc. In Aerospace Engineering will attend to the seminars “Nanomaterials – Introduction” and “Graphene: Magic of carbon”, given by Prof. Liliia Turovska and Prof. Volodymyra Boichuk from the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (Ukraine) on 13th May at 16:00 and 16th May at 12:00, respectively.

Later, Prof. Massimiliano Bertetti, from the Polo Tecnologico Alto Adriatico (Italy) will give the seminar “Digital Transformation Journey” to students of the “Integrated Manufacturing” course of the BSc. In Mechanical Engineering on 24 May at 12:00.

Finally, students from the “Technology of materials” course of the BSc. In Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering will attend the seminar “Semiconductor nanomaterials for renewable energy applications” given by Prof. Bohdana Naidych from the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (Ukraine) on 31 May at 10:00.

Participation in these seminars will complement the training of the engineering students at the University of León in areas of high innovation potential. All students who participate in these activities will receive a certificate of participation, after completing a short online exam about the seminars.
