Objectives
The REGINNA 4.0 project aims to create a borderless ecosystem that brings together stakeholders in a knowledge-based society to enhance innovation and entrepreneurship in solving societal challenges. The project focuses on material science and artificial intelligence, particularly in the areas of Nanotechnology and Industry 4.0. The objectives of the project are as follows:
Phase 1 objectives:
- New talent and skills development programmes.
- Strengthen the innovation and entrepreneurial capacity of regional HEIs.
- Promote comprehensive, innovation-oriented cooperation between regional industry and HEIs.
Phase 2 objectives:
- Improved talent and skills development programmes.
- Extend the innovation and entrepreneurial capacity of HEIs.
- Promote comprehensive, innovation-oriented cooperation between industry and HEIs.
Methodology
The project aims to facilitate strategic dialogue between higher education institutions (HEIs), industry, and the public sector to promote the exchange of knowledge and resources. The project proposes a methodology consisting of three steps:
- Systemic audit: This step involves assessing the development of technological knowledge, research infrastructure, and socio-cultural aspects that affect cooperation between organizations. A digital platform will be established to gather and store quantitative and qualitative data from stakeholders, including industry and the public sector.
- Development of education courses and materials: The project will review existing educational practices and incorporate relevant pedagogical principles into the curriculum. The curriculum will cover topics such as nanotechnology, Industry 4.0, and innovation and entrepreneurship. Additionally, a digital platform will provide information on research equipment, access requirements, and training opportunities.
- Testing and quality control: The developed materials will be tested through the implementation of Summer Schools. The content and delivery will be assessed, and feedback will be collected to improve future iterations. The project will include multiple Summer Schools to ensure continuous improvement.
